Do more with Malay reserve land, MB urges owners
SHAH ALAM March 21 — Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim today urged owners of Malay reserve land in the state to develop their properties, saying that their value would otherwise stagnate.
According to Bernama Online, Khalid said at the state assembly today that Selangor now has 182, 701.7 ha in Malay reserve land.
The mentri besar added that while land gazetted as such barred the transfer of ownership it did not preclude title holders from seeking to convert the land status for business use.
Khalid later said there was the most Malay reserve land in Sabak Bernam, with 69, 129.4 ha followed by Kuala Langat (15, 012. 3ha).
Other major tracts of reserve land were in Hulu Langat (13, 237.5ha), Hulu Selangor (12, 720.8ha), Sepang (9, 146ha), Klang (9, 123ha) Kuala Selangor (7, 474.5ha), and Petaling (1, 093.2ha).
The mentri besar later raised the issue of a Chinese community that had been staying for over three decades on some four ha of Malay reserve land in Sekinchan, and said his administration was still evaluating the case.
“A public hearing on the status change will be made to let the public know about the real situation,” Khalid said.
ReplyDeleteYour would-be creditor MUST tell you why you're not getting the loan. Consequently, if you haven't been working long enough at your current job, you'll apply afterward with better luck. If the rationale is that you simply have an excessive amount of debt already, you'll pay off a number of it and return at a later instance. you want to have the chance to amend things.
